Management and Leadership

USF Division of Professional and Workforce Development offers a variety of courses to give busy executives the skills they need to effectively manage their staff for optimal productivity. Management topics include performance improvement, customer service, problem-solving, decision-making and time management. Courses may be taken individually or as part of the Management and Supervision Certificate.

Our Leadership Tools workshop has been developed for beginning/mid-level managers and senior level executives who want to develop and/or enhance their leadership skills.

Management and Supervision Certificate

USF CertificateThis program is designed to help new managers, leaders, and supervisors acquire the skills they need to prepare for advancement, improve job performance, or transition to a new career. Core courses teach critical skills; electives afford an opportunity for you to tailor the program to upgrade customer service, problem solving, communication and financial skills.

To earn the Management and Supervision Certificate, you must complete five core courses and two electives over a two-year period. When you have completed the requirements, you may request your certificate. Non-certificate students may enroll in individual courses.

Building Multicultural Business Skills
